I am a 21-year-old University of Pittsburgh student and I just graduated at the end of April with my bachelor's degree in Applied Developmental Psychology. I am a very responsible, outgoing, and energetic girl! I have babysat since I was 15 years old for many families. I have babysat for families who had infants and for families who had kids, ages 1 to 13 years. I have also babysat for families that have had 4 children. This past summer I babysat for a family who had 8-year-old triplets and a 6-month-old baby. I am currently in graduate school working to get my masters in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, hoping to become an Elementary school teacher! It has always been a passion of mine to work with children in some sort of capacity ever since I was little. I have also been involved with a camp for kids who are dealing with cancer, for 4 years now, volunteering 3 years and I worked there three summers ago. Through camp, I also became certified in CPR/First Aid and became a certified lifeguard. I have also had a part-time job for two summers working at the preschool, interacting with kids who are 1-year-old to kids in 2nd and 3rd grade. In high school, I also volunteered at a hospital in Buffalo for 2 years. The first year I volunteered on the infant and toddler floor and the second year I volunteered in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with premature babies. This past summer I also worked at a camp for children, ages 5-21, with special needs and was certified again in CPR/First Aid! I love working with kids and I am very passionate about it.
