I started babysitting when I was 11 years old. I took the American Red Cross Babysitter's Course; 15 years later I am certified to teach the class. All throughout middle school and high school, my weekends were full babysitting for families throughout my neighborhood and school district.

To help get myself through my first two years of college, I nannied for a family of three; ages 8, 11 and 15. I was responsible for getting them to and from school, soccer practice, dance lessons and play practice and making sure they were fed and had their homework done. I've cared for children as young as newborns, up to high school aged.

I'm American Red Cross Certified in First Aid, CPR and Life-guarding. I'm also certified to teach all those classes. I am also an American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor. While I was in college, I worked as a swim instructor. I taught children ages 3-16. After I graduated, I continued working in the swim program as the aquatics coordinator.

Currently, I am training to run a half marathon to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
