I have cared for four different families. I have experience with all ages, from babies to 12 years old. My responsibilities as a sitter were to pick children up from the bus stop, feed them a healthy snack, help with any homework, studying, or projects and to participate and oversee play time. I cared for a baby. I followed a feeding and sleeping schedule along with other infant needs. I have taken care of a family dog and did various cleaning duties such as dishes. I have taken children to their practices and to other places such as parks, movies, and restaurants. I volunteered for a year one day a week at an elementary school in the West End to help the children get more one on one time. I helped them with classwork and reading. I am CPR certified. I have some experience with special needs, my niece has Down's syndrome and I am currently trying to become a physical therapist's assistant. I hope to work with children who have special needs one day. Children make me smile and I hope to help them, teach them, comfort them and make them smile in return.
