I am a hands-on babysitter, meaning I prefer to do activities (paint, read, draw, arts and crafts, etc.) instead of watching t.v./playing video games with the children. I have been providing personal child care (outside of family) for about 5 years now. I first started babysitting for a family of twin special-needs children, for about two years. Along with general child-care, I provided light housework, cooked meals, administered medication, and did numerous learning/growing activities with both children. For the past 3 years, I've been a nanny for a family of six, ages 3-16. I have been with them since the youngest was 5 months or so. Normal duties I perform are providing transportation to and from school and extracurricular activities, administer medication, tutoring, cooking, housework, etc.
