As the oldest of 5 children, I was separated in age from the younger 3 from a span of 10 to 13 years. In high school and college I was their primary care giver after school, allowing my parents to work. Since then, I have provided child care for friends and family, because I love being around children.

I believe that it is important for families to be able to enjoy a night out, attend a late meeting or just carry on with life, knowing their children are in good, creative hands. I pride myself on bringing a sense of fun and creativity to every job. I love getting dirty, going exploring with the kids or engaging in age appropriate crafts.

By day, I am a home and garden writer for Demand Studios, so I always come aimed with an idea kit of activities to do. I also attended the Red Cross Babysitting class as a teenager, and I'm looking to renew my First Aid certification.
