I am 35 years old. During my teen and college years, I was a babysitter for numerous families ranging from 3-6 kids at a time. I was an assistant teacher in the infant and toddler rooms at a child care center. I was the lead teacher in the toddler room. When I moved to Boston in 2000 for graduate school at BC, I was the after school teacher for the 1st graders. From 2001-2003, I was a nanny for a family with 3 boys ages 2 months - 6 years in Newton, 2 of the boys had special needs. From 2003-2005, I was the full-time nanny for 3 children ages 1 1/2 - 6 in Wellesley. I continued to babysit for the children on occasion after I went to work full-time in the Boston hospitals as a spiritual and emotional counselor. In 2009, I became the proud mother of my now 3-year-old son. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and certainly understand the juggling of work life, motherhood and being a wife. My goal for you would be to make your time away and your return to home a stress-free experience-and for your child to have a happy and healthy development from music, reading, gross motor play, etc.
