I have mother helped and babysat for 6 years. I have cared for children upwards from one month, mainly caring for toddlers or elementary aged children. My first babysitting job was with the family across the street when their second child was born, and this relationship has continued for the past 6 years, allowing me to take part in watching their children grow and being a part of their lives. I also have experience taking care of multiple children of multiple ages at once, having worked in the nursery at my church, babysat for large families, and watched children on play dates and birthday parties. When I am babysitting, it is my custom to bring movies (especially when babysitting at night) or games or other activities that I think those specific children will like. I also let the kids decide what we do and get down and play with them, whether it be the floor is lava or reading a book or running around outside. I'd rather interact with the kids then sit there on my phone. I am currently a freshman at a College in Maine, hoping to major in math and take the premed route. I enjoy reading, babysitting, hanging out with friends, and participating in theater productions.
