I am 23 years old with a 4-year-old daughter whom I spend 24/7 with, until this coming Fall when I'll be enrolling her in Kindergarten. Needless to say I've learned a lot about children, and their needs and wants and have learned how to incorporate the right amount of discipline while still providing them with a fun environment. Previously I have watched my friends baby for almost a year, who was 2 months old when I started caring for her, as my friend had to return to work. My daughter came with me to the baby's house and I enjoyed playing and learning with both girls every day. In addition to that I also worked in the daycare section of a Lutheran church. I watched over kids ages 7-13, planned activities for them, served them snacks and helped them with their homework. I have always gotten along great with kids because I look rather young, and I think they've always seen me as a friend as opposed to a stern "old person". I am studying to be an accountant and am pretty good at all other subjects if a child needs help in school. I love every child I meet and will always put them and their needs above my own.
