I have babysat for a single mom with a single child since I was 13 years old. I started when she was 3. I do any hours she needs, including pickups and drop offs. The child often has friends over while I am caring for her. I play with her, make her dinner, have her clean her room, shower, get ready for bed, anything that her mother asks. After she goes to bed I will clean up the house, do laundry, clean dishes, empty the dishwasher, etc. When I was 17, for the summer, I watched a family 15 hours a week while one of the parents was at work and the other was either working from home or coming in and out of the office. There were two girls and a boy, 6 months old, 2 years old, and 4 years old. I played with them, fixed them lunch, put them in for naps, etc. I have babysat for many families, any odd hours. In high school I also taught church school every other Sunday to preschoolers and kindergartners.
I go to Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and am studying Communication and Sciences Disorders with hopes of getting my Master's in Speech Pathology or Audiology. I play on the JV soccer team and work with special needs students on campus. I love working with people!
