Throughout my four years in college, I have had a variety of babysitting jobs, and have also worked at a child development center. About four years ago now, I got my first babysitting job for a couple, watching their two 5-year-old twins. I would meet them at their house after they got out of school and do arts and crafts with them, play games, get them dinner, and get them ready for bed before their parents came home. I then got a job with Springfield College's Child Development Center as a classroom assistant. I would help the teachers out by preparing snacks, doing crafts with the children, taking them to the bathroom, changing diapers, getting them ready for lunch, taking them outside for lunch, and getting them ready to go home at the end of the day. Lastly, I have watched my niece since she was a newborn. Since I was a commuting college student and my brother was employed full-time, I took it upon myself to help him out throughout my four years of schooling and on the days I didn't have classes (usually Mon, Wed, Fri) I would watch my niece in either their home or my parents. I have watched her grow into the intelligent 5-year-old she is today. In addition to all of this I also have a 7month old girl of my own now so I would need to take her a long as well for any possible position.
