Hello my name Is Erica. I am 21-year-old female college student at Truckee Meadows Community College here in Reno, NV. I've been babysitting/nanny since I was 14 years old. I have a lot of experience in working with children ages 2-15 and also have years of experience working with mentally disabled clients. I first started out babysitting my younger brother, my parents were always working so it was my responsibly to look after him and tend to his every need. But My first nanny job I worked with 2 little girls ages 4 and 7. I was a nanny to them for 2 years and loved it. Unfortunately they moved out of the country. My nanny duties for that family involved waking the girls up, getting them showered and ready for the day. Then I would make them healthy breakfasts and pack one of the girls a lunch. I then took the older girl to school. The rest of the day I did house work, making sure the house was neat and tidy and that the laundry was done. After school was out I picked the eldest child up and we would go home and get her homework done. I prepared dinner for the girls and got them ready for bed. That was a typical day for us. Weekends I would take the girls on educational activities such as the zoo or museums. We had a lot of fun. My previous job I worked for a company that helped the mentally disabled. I worked with all ages ranging from 10-50 years old. Also with my previous job, I was trained in different areas for medical emergencies. I am CPR and first aide certified. I was also trained and certified in MAJEN which is medication management. I do also have experience in dealing with food allergies and asthma. I myself have asthma and food allergies, so if your child have any of these health problems I am well informed and know exactly how to handle those situations. So I do have a lot of experience in working as a caregiver and a nanny. I absolutely love children and would provide the up most care for your children. I'm fun but responsible, honest and would love to help your child succeed in every day tasks whether it be homework, house cleaning, cooking meals or just getting them out of the house and taking them on an educational outing. I would very much enjoy to have the opportunity to be your nanny. I am a very honest, hardworking person who enjoys working with children and helping families with their everyday needs and chores. I understand people have crazy schedules and need some extra help every now and then and im the perfect candidate!
