I have babysat since I was 12 and I became an aunt at age 14 and have babysat my nephews and nieces many times. However, caring for children became an even a greater joy and larger part of my life when I began working as a Lifeguard at my local pool. There I taught elementary aged children how to swim. I continued caring for children as an After School Leader for the Y. M. C. A. Working for the Y. M. C. A., I prepared classes on a daily basis for children from kindergarten to the fifth grade. I also helped them with their homework and became a mentor to them in many ways. I truly enjoy and love working with children and am very qualified to do so with CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne pathogens certification and training. I also have around four years of experience with local institutions, as well as eight years of babysitting and caring being individually employed.
