I have been involved with in my community babysitting, tutoring, and working as a summer school after school mentor/counselor. Beginning as a camp counselor at the age of 16 I've had extensive experience working with children on an educational and extracurricular level. I worked as a camp staff member from 2006-2009 in California until I moved to Kansas where I continued to be involved in my church's youth group. In 2009 and 2010 I was the director and choreographer of the annual children's musical theater production while also providing tutoring and after school care to a family with two children. Along with my work and volunteer experience. I'm also first-aid/CPR certified and have my nurse assistant certification. I'm a nursing student who's held a 3.5 GPA through high school and college that believes the environment at home and the support system a child has will impact that child's success greatly.
