I currently have my teaching license in general education (grades K-8) and special education (grades K-12). I have been working with children with special needs using Applied Behavior Analysis for the past five years. I specialize in helping young children learn to communicate using visual supports and motivational speech. I have helped families set up supports for daily routines and expectations, including feeding and bedtime routines. My philosophy involves individualizing the therapy and supports for the child, working with the family as a whole, and collaborating with other involved therapists/professionals to share successful ideas and to generalize expectations across settings. I have found this work very rewarding and would like to continue helping families in whatever way I can.
