Hello and thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Emily and I've been caring for children since I was 11 years old. I took a course in my hometown of PA to be a certified safe choice for the neighborhood kids. I've done everything from occasional babysitting to more full-time nanny/chauffeur work in the past. I was a nanny/chauffeur for about three years when I was in college. I love kids. They are extraordinary, wonderful bright lights to be around. I've dealt with difficult ones and easy-as-pie ones. No two kids are the same. I'm comfortable with illness, behavioral issues, and everything that comes with the nanny territory. I quickly adapt, think on my feet, have cared for up to four kids at a time when the parent was going through chemo and needed a break. The oldest was in first grade and the youngest was about two and in diapers. I have plenty of experience with infants as well. I've got excellent references for the past several years and have yet to encounter any complaints. I'm in great shape so running around with your kids outside would never be a problem. Bottom line, I'm an adult, a safe choice and I know how to have fun with children.
