Hello! I'm currently a student at the University of Wisconsin studying Elementary Education and cannot wait to someday make a career out of my love for children. After about 7 years of experience and college level courses in child development and education, I have learned a lot and really developed a passion for children. I currently sit regularly for 2 Hinsdale families and can provide references if needed. I have an internship this summer with a nonprofit focusing on children's literacy programs and am looking for babysitting opportunities on weekday and weekend evenings. I know how important it is to have energy and patience, and have learned how to remain calm in difficult situations. I know how to be fun and friendly but provide gentle, appropriate discipline when needed in order to keep children safe. Arts & crafts, music, reading, outings to parks, zoo's, etc, outdoor activities, educational games, creative cooking, physical activities, scavenger hunts, and make-believe play are just some of the many activities that you can expect me to engage in with your children! I also am looking to minor in Spanish and would love to bring Spanish language learning into my activities if you would like!
