I have had experience caring for children through many different aspects of my life. I come from a very large family and have always been around children, whether they be cousins or family friends' children. My two oldest siblings also have three children each, leaving me with five nephews and one niece, ages 2-7, who I absolutely love spending time with and caring for.

I recently graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Before going back to get my Master's in Speech Pathology, I decided to take some time to gain experience in the school system. I am now employed at an elementary school working as an individual special education aide. I work with two different children at school, one kindergartener and one second grader. Both of my students have specific special needs and have given me a wealth of experience that I am so grateful for.

I consider myself to be a very friendly and positive person and love the idea of bringing such ideals into a child's life. I am also very active and outdoorsy and love going out exploring and gaining the perspective of a child!
