My first summer I watched 2 boys ages 7 and 9, five days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. They did not have pool passes so going to parks and other fun activities were what we did most days. A couple of weeks the boys had camps that I would drop them off at, and pick them back up.

The next summer I was a nanny for 2 children, a 3-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. We were always doing something from going to the pool or the library, to taking trips.

Over my winter break from school I was a nanny to a 3-month-old baby boy, 2-3 days a week. I was his primary caregiver from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on those days. Having done all the things necessary before this experience, by having a nephew that my parents watch, I can now say that I am proficient in caring for infants.
