Hi, my name is Emily! I am 20 years old, and will be a Junior at Central Michigan University in the Fall of 2013. I am going into Speech Pathology, where I will either be working with children or the elderly, but preferably children. I have hopes to graduate a semester early. I have been babysitting since I was in the fifth grade. The family I would watch from 5th grade until 7th grade had twins, one boy and one girl. Also, I have recently babysat for four previous families. One during my junior year of high school, the other was the summer before my senior year of high school, and the two recent families were the summer of 2012 (whom I found through care. com). The first family had four children, two boys and two girls, with ages ranging from 2-8. The second family had only two boys with ages from 3-6, and I would stay at their house for sometimes 12 hours. The third family has one 9-year-old girl. The fourth family has 3 children, two boys and one girls ages 2, 4, and 6. I really enjoy working with children. I am flexible with times, and I have my own means of transportation. I was CPR certified my senior year of high school. I love animals, so I do not mind any pets. A little bit about me is that I truly take any babysitting jobs personally, and I do not just see them as another job. I know many people may just say this to sound better, but I truly love becoming connected to the family. I like to make personal connections with the family so that we are both as comfortable as possible! I will be home from school May 2, and will be returning around August 20. I am available any day of the week. There are 6 weeks of summer (May 20-June 27) that I have one summer class Monday-Thursday from 7:20 a.m. -9:55 a.m. I would not mind babysitting right after class, or for a half a day later on.
