I enjoy care-taking and the bonds that form when doing so, whether the individual(s) are young or old. I especially love spending time with children and youth and have had experience working with all ages. Being on summer staff at camp for about fours summers has allowed me to experience counseling youth of multiple ages, staying with them and caring for them. I have also been hired on a few occasions to stay with an adolescent and house sit for a few weeks at a time while the parents were out of town.

This involved cooking meals, cleaning, helping with homework, and providing transportation. I have had experience in child care teaching children's church and helping in the church nursery. I currently help with youth group at my church and have had opportunities in the past to lead small groups for middle school and high school aged kids. I babysat all throughout high school and helped my Mother with her in-home daycare.

I worked at a middle school as a para-educator (teacher assistant) for a year and spent much of my time instructing struggling students in subjects such as math and science. I have my associate's degree in science and am working on my bachelor's degree in education and health science. I have taken many education courses and had some student teaching experience through Corban University. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with children and adolescents while supporting them in their learning endeavors. I am especially interesting in nannying and/or tutoring because of the small group and one-on-one interactions that I believe fosters growth and learning on multiple levels for many years to come.
