During high school, I did before and after school care for school aged children in the Marshalltown community school system. This also included working with children with special needs. After high school, I was a nanny for a year and a half for a 4-year-old little boy. After that, I became a preschool teacher for a year and a half and taught 2-year-olds and 4-year-olds. I love being with children and watching them learn and grow. Children energize me and show me joys in life that I wouldn't see otherwise.
