I volunteered in a classroom for special needs kids daily for a year. I babysit all the time for my sisters baby, he's about 17 months now. Growing up I raised my younger sister. I've been around kids my entire life. I think they're fun, I know how to talk and play with them so they stay entertained. I'm young and energetic, perfect for keeping up with the rambunctious ones! I'm not afraid to get on my hands and knees and really put me and the kid on the same level, making them feel comfortable and at ease around me. I like to get kids involved with reading and just learning useful things throughout the day.
I just recently connected to a family through this site. I got the pleasure of meeting a young girl, the cutest and most energetic 4-year-old I've ever met! We got to do lots of things like lunch at the mall and play at the park, she loved picnics and we had them every single day out in their yard. It was a great experience and they're family is now listed in my references which I hope you'll check out.
