I helped children with after school homework, picked children up from school, drove children to school, participated in fun activities such as arts and crafts, games, played house/school, dress up, went on fun adventures zoo, bowling, swimming( he list never ends! Just here to be the best babysitter around and my love for children), took children to needed activities, got children ready for bed (bath and story time), cooked dinner and picked up, changed diapers, feed infants, helped with cleaning and extra needs by parents. I have worked with infants from 1 month- children 14 years of age. I interned in a second grade class for one year and worked with kids on math, had free time and we played together and got the children to interact together and grow in their learning! I worked one on one and in big groups. I also was in child development classes for 3 years. The first two I helped the kids learn their letters to fine motor and large motor skills and learning the basic of a preschool and their love to grow! The child I worked with is now in kindergarten and can count up to 200 and can do addition up to three numbers, the third year I planned the preschool graduation! (amazing to take my teaching to a new level and connect with kids for 3 years!)
I am very familiar with a lot of the Chicagoland area! I have family and friends all over that I spend my time with. I do have my own car and I am comfortable with driving anywhere! I am also very good with directions (for a girl!) and I feel very comfortable with new environments.

It is my second year at Alabama! I am an early childhood education major! I have taken several human development classes! I have had to have a background check done to partake in classes I can send you my results! I have clearly passed since I can still continue my degree towards Early Childhood Ed!

Getting to work with kids would be a total plus for me! I love it and it can totally help me grow with my experience. Lets be honest some retail summer job will not help me with education! Just getting money and not growing with each person I meet.
