I most recently worked at a preschool as a teacher, for infants to children under 10.
I worked as a Kid's Club babysitter at a fitness center for children 3 months to 13 years. I was an assistant teacher at a Montessori School, for a classroom of 18.
I worked with highly talented children in the 3 to 10-year-old range. I practiced Montessori techniques and guidance in the classroom setting. I provided part time tutoring assistance to neighborhood family children and students at a preparatory academy in Math, Science, History and English. I was a babysitter/nanny/mother's helper all through high school, and then again, when I returned from college (8 years). Daily activities included making meals, playing with children, keeping the home clean, changing diapers, getting children ready for bed and joining the family on special occasions (weddings, etc). Some families I stayed with, for multiple years. I am accustomed to babysitting up to six children at once. A setting of few or many kids is comfortable. I also cared for various families' pets and houses, while they were away. I have a reliable car and a clean driving record. I have a clean background check and a current fingerprint clearing card.
