I got a job through this website last summer for a 1 1/2-year-old and a 9-year-old. To this day the mom still messages me or texts me to have me come watch the girls when she needs someone. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old for my cousins. I was the first born so I was the one who always had to be in charge. I then started babysitting 4 families when I was 13; a family of four, two families of three and another family of two. The kids now range from age 5 to 13 but when I started some were not even born yet, and others were just infants. From picking the kids up from school to making them dinner and helping with their homework, I've done it all. I have even had to stay overnight so I got them up and fed them breakfast before school. Last semester I was chosen to be in the "Lunch Buddies" program which is a program where I will go to a school once a week and tutor a child. I enjoy being able to do any arts and crafts and being able to take the kids outside when it is nice enough. I always try finding something to do with the kids to keep them occupied and I love kids of all ages.
