The last position I held was at a Child Care center, and my title was the "School age Teacher". The children that were in my care were ages 6 to 12-years-old. I was in charge of lesson planning fun and, education activities as well as providing afternoon snack and restroom care after getting off bus. In the morning, I arranged breakfast and worked on any school papers with children prior to getting on the morning bus. During the day, I worked in Infant, Toddler, and Twos rooms until the school age children got off afternoon bus. On top of providing a safe and clean facility, I encouraged a extremely positive and education environment. For years prior to my position, I was a in-home nanny for my two nephews, ages 6 and 10-years-old now. I was also a child care provider for a close friend's 3-year-old children, as well as for extended familly. I have an exteme passion for interacting with children. It is a gift to make a positive impact in a childs life. I enjoy being silly and by nature have a very nurturing personality. I am CPR certified and am don't mind doing deep cleaning. I am always looking for new ways to plan fun and educational activities.
