I have eight years of experience caring for children, ages ranging from infant to 13 years old. Along with babysitting, I also worked at an infant aftercare program for 2 years. Over the years I have babysat for several families, and my responsibilities ranged from traveling to a different state in order to care for a family's 1-year-old daughter while they house hunted, to dropping children off to appointments, to picking up after children, to cooking meals and tidying up houses, to caring for special needs children. I believe that the diversity in my qualifications demonstrates my responsibility and trustworthiness. I enjoy many different activities including baking, reading, writing, art, being outside, exercising, and music, and try to incorporate my interests into fun daily activities for the children. I recently babysat part-time for the summer in my hometown of Wilmington, Delaware for three siblings, ages 3-9, and am looking as I make the move to Poughkeepsie NY to continue my caregiving career.
