My name is Ellie and I am a freshman at Bethel University. I am a very social and positive person and I love kids! I am a double major in social work and special education. I chose these majors because I love working with people and making a difference in people's lives. I am a very upbeat and energetic person, but I am also a very organized person. In the past, I have babysat for a variety of families with children aging from 2-11. I started baby-sitting when I was 13, and oddly enough it was for my former day care lady. It was fun to baby-sit her kids after she used to take care of me. I am the oldest of two kids in my family. I have a younger brother who is a sophomore in high school. I know that I could help you with several things around your house or a variety of needs you may have. Along with care-giving for a child, I am capable of also caring for a pet, cooking meals, and making sure the house stays tidy. Something I really enjoy doing for the kids I take care of is having plenty of play time outdoors. I think that playing outside with or without neighbors, going to the park, or going for a walk can be very beneficial for the kids as they grow older.
