I am a responsible, 23-year-old adult who loves children and caring for them. I am looking for work, especially with children, to pay for my college education in English education. My schedule is very flexible and open. My experience includes baby-sitting for my two younger brothers from the time they were very little, (they are now ages 12 and 13.) I also have baby-sat for a family with three children, ages 18 months, 8 years, and 11 years. Additionally, I have served as a Sunday school teacher for the 3 to 5-year-olds class with up to 10 children in the class. With this experience, I believe I am capable of providing the care your child's needs. I have references and I'm quite willing to provide them upon request. If my qualifications seem satisfactory to you and you would like to hire me or if you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. Additional information: American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified, (infant, child, and adult), I don't smoke, and I'm very comfortable with animals, (my family has seven pets). Additional responsibilities, such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, homework help, etc. are things I'd be very willing to do if desired. I live about an hour's drive west of the Portland Airport. I presently do not have a way to drive myself and would generally prefer a job that would allow me to use some combination of public transportation and my bike to get there. However, this is not a prerequisite for accepting a job offer. If driving, either to get there or while on the job, is required, it isn't a problem for me to begin paying the auto insurance needed as soon as I start having some income again.
