Throughout my high school years I worked as a nanny for a Senator and his five children and as a babysitter for a Representative and his six children. I also served as their children's tutor when they needed it....

Since I was 13, I have been taking care of children. I have worked as a nanny for families with up to six children and done everything from making meals and running children to activities to tutoring. Throughout my high school years I worked as a nanny for a Senator and his five children and as a babysitter for a Representative and his six children. I also served as their children's tutor when they needed it. I juggled very crazy hours sometimes staying with them all night and was responsible for fixing meals and preparing the kids for political dinners and other activities. I have also worked for families with special needs children. I served as a nanny for a child with severe autism and I also took care of a baby with Down Syndrome. I am used to working with children of all ages. As a nanny for the Senator, I was responsible for taking care of his five children who at the time were ranging in age from 12 - newborn.
In my opinion children are the greatest gift any person could ask for and my ideal summer job would be spent working as a nanny. Children are my joy and life and each one is unique and precious in my eyes and has so much to offer to the world.
