I have always known that I wanted to work with children. Just knowing that I have the opportunity to help a child learn and grow in life brings me a sense of satisfaction. I am currently attending college and working to obtain a degree in Spanish Education, but I have taken childhood development courses as well. Throughout high school, I volunteered in a church nursery, caring for children ages newborn to four years of age. I also have experience working in a state-licensed daycare facility in a Springfield hospital. As a childcare assistant, I taught and worked with children ages six weeks to 12 years. I loved the work that I did with the daycare which allowed me to be a positive influence in so many children's lives.
