I am a group child care provider licensed by the state of California. I operate my day care home in compliance with the state rules for family child care. My home meets or exceeds all licensing, fire, health, and safety requirements. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. I participate in the Child Care Food Program and serve nutritionally balanced, high quality food. I run a structured schedule, as a schedule helps the day to flow more smoothly, allows the child to anticipate the coming events and aids in achieving consistency. These are some of the things that we fit into our days: daily outdoor play, art, story time, neighborhood walks, snack/lunch time, and nap time. I have been a licensed child care provider since 1998. I was also a preschool teacher with the state required early education units. I have training in both infant/child CPR and First Aid.
