I believe in learning through play, taking advantage of teachable moments, good nutrition and high activity to avoid behavior problems, and partnering with parents to achieve consistent expectations and care. I value celebrations of all kinds from lost teeth to birthdays. I value passing on culture and traditions to children to equip them to live healthy productive and grounded lives.
If desired, while the children are sleeping or playing with each other. I can do light housekeeping, children's laundry, and family dinner prep. I have professional experience as a nurse aide and have done housekeeping and cooking for my family and others nearly my whole life. I am highly educated and have worked as a tutor, so for older children, I can help with homework.
