I am highly experienced in the field of childcare with excellent references. My responsibilities included looking after children from six weeks of age to 8 years old in private homes and children's settings, which entailed providing all the basic needs of children, including feeding and changing and providing a stimulating, nurturing environment.
For older children I also planned and implemented activities to enhance their learning. My duties in private homes involved taking full care of children whilst parents worked. This included collecting children from nursery or school, supervising and helping with homework, outings to the play park, baking and arts and crafts. I also prepared, served and supervised meals.
I have furthered my career gaining qualifications related to the health, education and care of children.
I am compassionate, hardworking and reliable with a cheerful disposition looking for a position with a family that requires a caring supportive carer to provide childcare for a working family.
