I'm a senior nursing student at Shenandoah University. I have baby-sat/nannied for 9 years. I have worked with children of all ages from newborn to preteen/teenagers. I am First Aid and CPR certified. I have also worked with special needs children and assisted in vision and physical therapies for such children. I'm an advocate for doing what the children want (in a safe manner) being active (playing games, playing outside, board games, making crafts, going to the park/pool/library). I do not like to "plop" the children in front of a TV, I enjoy doing what interests the children. I've worked in a doctor's office as a nursing assistant for 3 1/2 years. I also have worked with senior adults who need help with daily living activities. I also dog/house sit and have been for 4 years.
