Hi. My name is Eliese. I have over 25 years of sitting and nanny experience, having had my first baby-sitting job when I was 13. I have always loved children. They experience such happiness as they discover new things; it reminds me that, even in our high-tech, fast-forward lives, simple joys can be the most fulfilling. It also reminds me that learning is something that children do naturally and should be encouraged through age appropriate means, such as play, and artistic expression. I have worked with children of all ages, but I prefer to work with newborns and infants. This has also been the majority of my adult experience, including two sets of newborn twins. Children this age need love and attention more than anything. It makes them feel safe and secure, which gives them the confidence to start exploring the world around them. I love to read, sing songs, rock in a chair, play, and just talk with little ones. They usually have quite a lot to say, with words, sounds, even facial expressions. Some of the most enjoyable conversations I have ever had consisted mostly of smiles, coos, giggles and flailing arms! These are the things I have given to many children over the years, including my own. I would love to be able to give them to yours, too, until you are able to be home to do it yourselves. Thanks!
