Most recently I operated a licensed child care center (10/2010-07/2011), where I cared for infants and toddlers during the morning and children 7-15 years during the afternoon, but had to close because of deed restrictions. I have worked as an assistant teacher for 2 reputable private Montessori schools in the Houston area, Montessori Country Day School and Montessori Children's Cottage, and attended various workshops to further my knowledge and ability to care for children. I have worked with kids in all ages and feel comfortable and competent in doing so but prefer toddlers because they are like a sponge waiting to absorb nurture and knowledge. I have received CPR, First Aid, and shaken baby syndrome training since 2006.
