In my life, there have only been a few times that I have come across a person who I feel like I have known forever. This was my immediate feeling with Eileen. Tentatively, I was moving across country to an area where I did not know anyone. She was calm and reassuring over the phone when I called her to discuss care for my 3 year old son. In my phone call to her, I was a stressed out mom working 60-70 hours per week and missing raising my son. She was personable, informative and reassuring. She agreed to meet upon my arrival to California. From the initial meeting, everything has been seamless. She watches our son on a regular basis for a reasonable rate. If our resources allowed, I would happily pay her twice as much. He loves going to Miss Eileen 's house. Her daughters are what could only be expected being raised by Eileen (and her husband). They are kind, compassionate, well-mannered and attentive to interacting and playing with their little buddy when he comes to visit. Our son asks to go to see his "girls. " She has brought him on adventures to the library and to a farm. On a religious holiday that I had to work, I sent his children 's bible for her to read with him. She honored our wishes one step further and took him to a service. She is fun, loving and nurturing while still offering a structured, disciplined environment. I cannot recommend Eileen enough for caring for your child.
