It is clear that Dorothy loves children and she was an absolutely fantastic baby sitter! I hired Dorothy when I needed weekly help with my 3 month old son. She was extremely reliable and always on time. I really appreciated how she would follow up with me with a quick text to see how things were going with my son after her visits. She was in tune with my baby's needs and knew immediately how to respond. As a first time mom myself, Dorothy was open to sharing tips to help me with my little one when I asked her while always respecting and following my directions. Dorothy displayed confidence and genuine enjoyment when caring for my son. I always felt confident and comfortable leaving him with her. I knew he would be safe and have a great time. I am moving out of state and wish I could bring Dorothy with us!

I hired Dorothy when my son (now 3 years old) was 3 months old. It was very hard returning to work after getting to spend so much time with the love of my life and it was heart wrenching to let him go. Thank goodness I found Dorothy. She is warm, caring and very capable. She put me at ease and my little son went to her right away. He never had the separation issues even as he grew older. Dorothy was like a second mommy, but never took over in that regard. She is upbeat, energetic and very disciplined all while providing the most loving environment for my child. She plays games with them, sings songs and if you don't mind, teaches a little Italian. She emailed pictures to me at work of my son and was very conscientious with his care, noting anything from a rash, a fussiness not a part of his common demeanor, and anything else not all people would pick up on. She really tunes herself to your child. I was fortunate to be referred to her from a group of Italian Catholic women who provide daycare services for professional working women in the downtown area. Everyone with whom I have spoken, and spoke with before hiring her, had nothing but glowing reviews about her. You would be very fortunate and blessed to have Dorothy as a nanny because I truly believe she is her happiest when she is caring for children. She is a true natural and truly loving. It was a shame when I had to transfer him to preschool but we have remained close with Dorothy because that's the person she is. She doesn't stop caring or loving your child, even when they go to school or move away. That's a bond I value and you will too!
