I applied for a nanny position with Jodi on 10/13/12. She didn't respond to me until 10/23/12, 10 days later. At that time I was in Jamaica on my weddingmoon, we got married on 10/24/12, but I responded to her that afternoon on 10/23/12 informing her I was in Jamaica and would call her when I returned at the end of October. She emailed me back and said, "Ok so I'm totally jealous.... call me when you can!" I replied on 10/26/12, because again I was on my honeymoon, and the only reason I replied is because we were stuck inside since hurricane Sandy was hitting us. We actually got married during hurricane Sandy. Upon our arrival back to the states we were stuck in the Florida airport for a week because the hurricane was hitting our home and the airports were closed. While I was at the airport I called Jodi twice a day for three days and left messages. She actually answered once, but hung up. I sent her an email when we returned home on 11/06/12 to let her know that I was still interested if the job was still available. I didn't hear back from her until 12/11/12, "This family has reviewed your application, but has chosen to pursue other applicants. Care. com would like to thank you for the time you took to apply to this job and we encourage you to apply to more jobs that meet your qualifications..." Not only did it take her 5 weeks to respond to me after I returned from my honeymoon she never returned my phone calls. After so long a person gives up on trying to call a potential job. Plus I am no longer available since my new husband and I moved to another state three weeks ago.
