Sheila,
Thank you so much for this glowing review. I knew when I first met you and Josh that I would be very happy to join your family. We had the same philosophy of raising children. Let the "children" be "children" with set up guidelines to love and protect them. Safety, respect, honesty, love, and caring are key ingredients. Open communications between us was instrumental in caring for your children every day. I felt very comfortable in your home and appreciated your respect, encouragement, and approval on taking care of your children like they were my own.
Your two girls are beautiful, loving children. Although, I spent most of my time with the baby when she was 10 months, and now 18 months; the time I spent with your 4-year-old was very fulfilling. We connected well with each other from the very beginning. She was a delight to see when she came home. The baby and I enjoyed her out-going, funny, happy, personality. I will never forget all the fun we had watching her dress-up and putting on shows. She was unbelievable to watch. We all had fun together with dress-up, shows, reading, singing, and being outdoors swinging on the swing, just having fun.
I have such great memories caring for the baby. Every day was a new day of learning, growing and communicating with each other. Although, she was only 10 months old when we met, she had her way of communicating with me without words. She would look at me, make her facial expression, and I knew exactly what she needed. Going through all the different stages of her child development, each tooth that came in, first words, first steps, her reaching out to me to hold her hand for guidance, throwing kisses, playing with dolls, dancing, saying title words of songs for me to sing, first time swinging on the swing, bonding with her holding me so close, comfortably in my arms, I am forever grateful and truly blessed.
Thank you, Sheila and Josh for this precious gift of caring for your two beautiful children, and being a part of your warm, loving family. These memories I will cherish forever and have always in my heart.
Sincerely,
Dolores C.
