Since the age of seven, I have helped my mom care for and watch many children. I am capable of caring for infants, toddlers, and preteens. I thoroughly enjoy watching children learn, grow, and become their own persons. During high school, I helped develop a peer mentoring program which allowed me to help my fellow classmates overcome obstacles and also tested the program on a few elementary classes to help resolve conflicts. I have had experience working at a Child Learning Center during my collegiate years where I helped motivate the children in using their locomotive skills, demonstrated positive behavior and mentored youth, and assisted the lead teacher in instructing. I know that it takes a great deal of patience, love, and nurturing when it comes to caring for children and I feel that I am most capable and willing to do just that.
