I am currently employed by the Wayzata school district. I am also employed by the Wayzata community education, before and after school program, and their summer program. I have been with the district for 11 years, and Home Base for four years. I mainly work with special needs children, but have the opportunity to play and interact with all the children. I also spent four years as a Sunday school teacher while my children were young. I cannot imagine doing anything else but working with children. I love seeing the joy in their eyes, when they accomplish a task that they have been working on for a time. The sound of a child's laughter is priceless. I am a very patient, understanding, and caring person. In regards to the background check, I am not comfortable putting my social security number online. Please call the principal at my present school, as the district will have that record. I would not be able to work for Wayzata, if I did not have a clean record. Thank you for your understanding.
