Hi! My name is Diane and I have always delighted in the creative minds and curiosity of children. When I was 8, my little sister was born, and I got to read, play games, and babysit for her and her many little friends. I got to help my step-mother, a 5th grade teacher, in her classroom on vacations, which was a lot of fun and very educational. While attending the University of Nevada, Reno, I took various Child Development courses. In my 20's, I worked one year as Preschool Teacher's Aide. I also was counselor for a summer at a Girl Scout camp.
I worked in the past for a professional babysitting organization out of Ridgefield, CT for about one and a half years.
I never got to have children of my own, but have seriously considered the possibility of being a foster mother someday when my living situation permits this. Unfortunately, right now I do not have a large enough income or apartment to do this. I personally was a foster child until the age of 5, and my foster family and I are still good friends, although mom and dad have passed away.
I am always looking for opportunities to be with children, since I love them so much.
