I have been babysitting since I was 12, with more of a concentration on the last 7 years. I have been helping care for my cousins for the past 6 years, and their family has grown considerably in that time. They range in age from 14 months to 8 years. I love watching them, and they are some of the most creative and well behaved children I've had the pleasure of knowing. I love being around kids; they have a kind of life in them that is so fun to be around and watching them learn and grow is absolutely amazing. Most recently, I served as a nanny for an awesome 2-year-old. I had a hand in teaching her some of her first words, potty training, and I planned a variety of art projects, music lessons, and learning games during my time with her. I took the position seriously and looked at it not only as a childcare job but as a teaching job as well and did a lot of research on her age group and activity planning. I am very engaging; I would never just sit a child in front of the TV. I love music, art, and reading, and I think these things are necessary in a child's life.
