I volunteered working with children who have special needs for 6 months at Titusville high school. In doing so, I learned the basic skills in caring for children who have autism and learning disabilities. I was able to help teach and expand on their social skills to prevent social deprivations. I've babysat since the age of 12, caring for my younger cousins and neighbors. I also have experience with dealing with animals and the elderly. I really enjoy working with children and hope to obtain more experience in this area of work.
