After I successfully completed 13 years of education in Austria I came to the United States as an Au pair. After my two years of working as an Au pair for two different families, I nannied for a family with an infant and a toddler for one year. Currently I am working as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at a German Immersion school in Seattle.

I am also pursuing my Associate of Arts Degree at North Seattle Community College and I will be done with my third quarter in June.

On weekends and evenings I am also babysitting for various families. The age range of the children I am taking care of is one year up to nine years.

In Austria I went to Secondary College for Kindergarten Teachers. My curriculum included regular practical training in different kindergartens for five years. In our last year we were "practicing" as group leaders. I also took additional classes in early childcare for three years. These courses also included practical training in different institutions. During my time in Austria I was having several babysitter jobs with different families, organized children's birthday parties and planned and organized the "kinder feast" in my hometown. I was also working as a camp counselor for two weeks.

I am fluent in both German and English and also have experience with teaching piano to little children.

Children are fascinating me. I think we can learn a lot from them and in my opinion it's the most important thing to be there for them and find out what they need and how we can help them. I think that children are very thankful and it is one of the most beautiful things for me, when I see that I could make them happy. I love working with children and I love the fact that you can't say pre-estimate what you will experience with them.
