I am 37 years old with 2 children, ages 8 and 6, and happily married for the past 9 yrs. We are an outgoing family, we love to be outside.
I really enjoy the newborn, baby care. I feel I have a gift at calming them and keeping them smiling. I did get my first nanny job because I was the only one that could calm their newborn and I kept watching that child until she was nine. I love spending time with babies; they are so amazing watching them grow and learn. I have always wanted to be with babies as far back as I can remember. For the past year I have taken my nephew for the weekend on numerous occasions just because. I have also helped teach my nephew's 19 yr old mom how take care of him better. Helped get him to sleep better, get him eating healthier and off the bottle. I think there is so much you can teach them in the early development years just by reading and playing games with them. I will take care of your child as if they were my own, my home will be their second home. They will always feel loved here and part of the family.
I do have 2 very respectful smart kids. My daughter age 6, is just like me, loves spending time with babies. My son age 8, is very outgoing.
I would love to find a family that I can continue to watch as they grow up and go to kindergarten.

Things I do on a typical day:
keeping a daily journal about what baby did today
go on daily walks
keep baby on a schedule as much as possible
story time and singing songs
playing on floor working on baby's muscles and coordination
I love to cook and feed a variety of foods. Also make homemade baby food for when they are on solid foods.
keeping up on diaper changes and give baths as needed
take lots of pictures for mom and dad
Go to park
occasional outing to the zoo, aquarium, etc. if parent says its okay.
Very limited TV watching. I do not believe young children should be watching much TV. There is a study that too much TV causes them to be easily distracted when they get older.
