In my experience of babysitting I've watched 3 kids. They were ages 8, 5, and 3. I watched them for over a year and a half, but I had stopped because their mother had gotten in an injury which resulted in needing time off work. I'd watch the kids from 2:30-6:30 p.m., four days a week. I was never late and I would stay late if she needed to run errands after work. I made sure that the kids had ate something after school and then began their homework. After their homework I'd play with them. If the kids behaved good, at the end of the week I'd surprise them with a treat (candy/Slurpee). I enjoy toddlers and I love expanding the mind of little kids by doing little creative arts and crafts.
