Debra worked in my home day care and preschool as my assistant from April-December 2010. The biggest asset Deb has to offer is that she is very reliable and flexible. She was always willing to accommodate my changing needs for assistance and always showed up to work when she said she would. Deb was always willing to help with any additional odds-and-ends jobs I would give her as well as follow through and complete any job responsibilities I assigned to her. Deb's interactions with the children were mostly positive and the children grew to rely on her and trust her. Deb made an effort to show that she cared about the children through her daily interactions with them as well as buying them little gifts for their birthdays, etc. I was able to leave Deb alone with up to 5 children at a time and she was always comfortable with that and proved to be able to provide quality care for them in my absence. Deb chose to terminate with me so that she can could find full time work as opposed to the part-time hours I had to offer. Otherwise, she would still be working for me today.
